Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during a visitation on April 14, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. During the visitation, a prayer service will take place at 7:00 PM.

A Mass in Vincenzo’s honor will be held at Saint Finbar Catholic Church on April 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

Following the Mass, Vincenzo will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island

It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Vincenzo Russo on April 10, 2025, at the age of 44. Vincenzo was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose life was marked by his warmth, laughter, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved.

Born on December 29, 1980, Vincenzo brought joy to everyone he met. He is survived by his devoted parents, Maria Teresa Russo and Raffaele Russo; his loving brother Johny Russo; his cherished sister Gina Merigelli and her husband Chris Merigelli; and his adored niece and nephews, Emma Merigelli, Luca Merigelli, and Gio Merigelli.

Vincenzo had an adventurous spirit that led him to a career in the airline industry, which allowed him to fulfill his passion for travel and explore countries across the globe. His curiosity for new experiences and cultures was limitless, and he shared these stories enthusiastically with family and friends.

His love for cooking was a big part of his life and his heart. Vincenzo managed several restaurants throughout his career, creating countless connections and friendships along the way. He was happiest when sharing a meal or discovering a new recipe, always bringing people together around the table.

Known for his infectious laugh and magnetic personality, Vincenzo had an extraordinary gift for making friends wherever he went. His playful demeanor and kind heart lit up every room, and he never hesitated to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

Vincenzo took great pride in his accomplishments, especially the day he purchased his home—a moment that filled him with immense joy and excitement. A lover of antiques and interior design, he found happiness in decorating his space and making it a reflection of his vibrant personality.

Beyond his hobbies and accomplishments, it was Vincenzo's genuine connection to people that made him truly special. He had an incredible ability to connect with anyone, regardless of background or circumstance. He was truly one of a kind, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know and love him.

Vincenzo Russo’s life was a beautiful journey, and though he has left us too soon, the love and joy he shared will remain with us always.
