Frank Carozza, of Ocala Florida, passed away on August 10, 2024, at the age of 97. Frank will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Jennie Carozza, and his family.

Frank was a proud military veteran holding the rank of corporal in the U.S. Army. In addition, he was a 4th degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus and was very active in his local parish. He served his church as an usher and always greeted fellow parishioners before mass each Sunday.

Frank lived a long fulfilling life surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Born in Yonkers New York on March 21, 1927, he is survived by his wife and soulmate Jennie Carozza who were married 72 years. Frank also leaves behind his son James Carozza, daughter-in-law Karen Carozza, daughter-in-law Linda Carozza, beloved grandchildren Janine, Michael, James, Christopher, Elizabeth and 10 great grandchildren.

Frank was known for his passion for the New York Yankees MLB team. He was never at a loss to discuss the outcome of games played or the strategy for live games being played. When his beloved Yankees were trailing in a game, Frank would turn his Yankee baseball cap backwards to rally his team on to victory. Beyond his love for major league baseball Frank was an avid reader and enjoyed working on word search puzzles, playing card games and the occasional visit to a local casino.

In this time of sorrow, we remember Frank’s kind spirit and the joy he brought to those around him. May he rest in peace knowing he was loved and will always be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
