Christopher DeVito - Beloved Father, Grandfather, and Friend

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher DeVito, of Brooklyn, who departed this life peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, his brother Vinny, and leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories.

Christopher is survived by his children: Chris, Maria, Michael, and Carmine. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren: Thomas and his wife Kayla, Anthony, Michael, Thomas, Samantha, Joseph, Nicholas, and Gavin. He also held a special bond with his great-granddaughter Gabriella, who brought immense joy to his life. Christopher also shared many enduring friendships over the years.

Christopher had a passion for life and found joy in cooking, baking, arts and crafts, and coloring. Known for his extraordinary Christmas decorations, his elegantly adorned Christmas trees and meticulously crafted nativity scenes were a highlight of the holiday season, admired by family and neighbors alike. He often shared stories of the “real Italian way,” blending humor and wisdom from his heritage.

A devoted Catholic, Christopher found strength in his faith and inspired others through his unwavering devotion. The family invites all who knew and loved Christopher to honor his life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the COPD Foundation or St. Finbar R.C.C. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Rest in peace, Christopher. May your soul find eternal light and love.
