Babi I know that in this life you have been one of the greatest blessings in my life. Thank you for that, it was an honor to have you by my side. From you I learned how it is to be fully present and participating in life and not being passive with it, and I’m so glad to see you do that. You knew who you were and never relied on others to define who you are. Thank you for giving your everything and for spreading so much light all around you, which you truly did for those who know your journey! I hope you are somewhere around me and visit my dreams often!

Alfred Bakiasi, born on March 14, 1963, after an intense fight with his illness peacefully departed this world, on February 18, 2025, leaving behind an enduring legacy of love and light. Alfred was a remarkable individual whose presence radiated warmth and kindness, touching the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

His journey through life was marked by an unwavering passion for living fully and authentically. Alfred had a gift for making those around him feel seen and heard. He embodied what it meant to be present, fully engaging with the world and those in it. It is this spirit of active participation that endeared him to friends and family alike.

After a life devoted to love and kindness, Alfred will return to his beloved hometown in Albania, where he will be laid to rest. As we gather in remembrance and reflection, we honor his journey and the legacy he leaves behind.

The visitation service will be held at Miraglia Funeral Chapels in Brooklyn, NY, on February 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. During this time, family and friends can come together to share their stories and express their condolences as they celebrate Alfred's life.
